One of the yummiest chocolate chip recipes, these little squares has a wholesome, nutty flavour with the addition of sweet and delicious milk chocolate.
Method
1. LINE a 20 cm square pan with baking paper, letting some excess hang over the sides.
2. COMBINE all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Beat together the butter, egg and vanilla and then stir into oat mixture until combined. Spoon into pan and gently smooth over.
3. BAKE in a moderate oven 180°C for 25 minutes until just firm. Use the paper to lift from the pan onto a wire rack to cool. Cut into 16 squares. Store in an airtight container until required.
