Ingredients

250g unsalted butter
180g Cadbury Baking Dark Chocolate
2 cups caster sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup plain flour
¼ cup CADBURY Bourneville cocoa
150g CADBURY Baking Caramel Buttons

Method

1. Preheat oven to 160C fan forced. Lightly grease and line a 24cm square cake tin.
2. Heat butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat and stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
3. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
4. Sift dry ingredients and mx until thoroughly blended. Stir in caramel buttons.
5. Pour into prepared tin and bake for 35-40 minutes.
6. Allow to cool completely in tin. Cut into squares to serve.
