What you need
1¼ cups cream
1 cup milk
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons cornflour
½ cup caster sugar
100g CADBURY Baking White Chocolate, broken into pieces
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur
12 ready-made crepes, warmed as per packet directions
500g strawberries, hulled and halved
1. HEAT the cream and milk in a saucepan until just reaches boiling point. Whisk together the yolks, cornflour and sugar and then pour on the hot cream mixture whisking continuously. Return to the saucepan and gently cook, stirring, until thickened slightly. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate and liqueur and keep warm.
2. ARRANGE the crepes and strawberries on warm serving plates and pour over White Chocolate Custard. Serve immediately.
White chocolate custard is delicious with this French inspired dessert, but it is also wonderful with poached pears.
