This is a fantastic nutty variation on the old favourite Chocolate Caramel Slice, well worth a try! Easiest chocolate slice recipe ever.
Method
1. COMBINE the sifted flours in a bowl with the coconut, sugar and butter, stir to combine. Press into the base of a greased and base-lined 28cm x 18 cm slice pan. Bake in a moderate oven 180°C for 10 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through.
2. SCATTER the chocolate chips evenly over the base; pour over the condensed milk, then top with the hazelnuts. Return to the oven and cook for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
3. ALLOW to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack, before slicing. Store in an airtight container until required.
