Easter is a special time for many families across Australia and Cadbury is proud to be a part of the tradition. For the past nineteen years, we’ve rolled out the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic, encouraging members of the community to come together, celebrate the joy of Easter and unlock their generous instinct for a wonderful cause. Since its foundation, Australia’s largest Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic has raised more than $1.9 million dollars of much-needed funds in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. Across the years, the much-loved event has become an important Easter ritual, creating a magical day out for Victorians and embodying the spirit of the Easter season.
2021 Event Update
This year, the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic is taking a break.
And while we understand this might disappoint some who attend our event each year, we’re encouraging families to celebrate the spirit of Easter at home in 2021. This year, Cadbury is offering families the opportunity to purchase an at-home hunt pack, bringing the spirit of the Egg hunt into their homes. All proceeds from this pack will go towards raising vital funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, and can be purchased from the Cadbury Website.
Despite the cancellation of this year’s event at Werribee Park, Cadbury continues to be a proud supporter of the Royal Children’s Hospital. Since 2000, Cadbury has pledged over $1.9M to the hospital’s Good Friday Appeal – and plan to continue the support in 2021 & beyond!
Happy hunting – from the Cadbury Easter team!
