What you need
250g PHILADELPHIA Block Cream Cheese, softened
150g packet Classic OREO cookies, coarsely chopped
225g CADBURY White or Milk Chocolate Melts, melted
Rainbow choc chips, chopped nuts, coconut etc, for decorating
1. STIR together the PHILLY and OREO cookies in a bowl to combine. Roll mixture into walnut sized balls, place on a paper lined tray and refrigerate until firm.
2. MELT half the chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Remove from the heat, add the remaining chocolate and stir until smooth.
3. DIP the balls into the chocolate and allow excess to run off. Place onto a lined tray to partially set before decorating. Return to the tray and refrigerate until firm. Store in and airtight container, refrigerated, until required.
For a twist on the standard birthday cake, skewer the truffles. Pipe a birthday greeting onto individual truffles. Once set, secure into oasis in a florist’s box. Decorate with additional ribbons, tissue paper etc.
These are so easy and delicious. A a match made in heaven, OREO and PHILLY coated in chocolate.
