Easy to make and very decorative these chocolate coated marshmallow treats are sure to put smiles on faces!
Method
1. HEAT half the chocolate in a bowl over simmering water until just melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining chocolate until smooth. Allow to cool and thicken a little.
2. DIP the top of each marshmallow 1/3 of the way into the chocolate. Wipe off excess on the side of the bowl then coat with the decorations. Place chocolate side down on a lined tray and allow to set before inserting the pop stick in base. Store in an airtight container.
As an alternative:
Using gloves, roll each marshmallow in a little melted chocolate in your hands until lightly coated then fully cover in the decorations. Allow to set on a lined tray before inserting a stick in the base.
