Sugar and Spice Cookies

Ingredients
175g butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons golden syrup
1 egg
2 cups plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons Cadbury® Bournville® Cocoa
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
caster sugar
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cream the butter, sugar and golden syrup until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon. Mix together to form a soft dough.
- Cover the dough and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Shape the dough into balls. Roll in caster sugar and place on lined baking trays.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
