Makes approximately 24 pieces
Ingredients
1½ cups slivered almonds
1½ cups desiccated coconut
1 cup chopped dried apricots
1 cup dried currants
1/3 cup plain flour
250g Cadbury® Milk Cooking Chocolate, melted
¼ cup apricot jam
½ cup honey
Method
- Preheat oven to 160ºC conventional or 140ºC fan forced.
- Line with baking paper a 28cm x 19cm slice pan.
- Combine almonds, coconut, fruit and flour in large bowl. Stir in chocolate, jam and honey.
- Spread into pan and flatten top of slice with a metal spoon dipped in hot water.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool in pan. Cut into triangles or squares
